Daniel Craig has dedicated much of his life to acting. A member of the National Youth Theatre from the age of 16, Daniel has worked across all of his profession’s disciplines including theatre in A Number with Michael Gambon at London’s Royal Court theatre and A Steady Rain with Hugh Jackman on Broadway, television performances in Our Friends In The North, Archangel and Copenhagen and, of course, film with notable roles including Enduring Love, Love Is The Devil, Road To Perdition, Defiance and The Mother.
His performance in Layer Cake in 2004 garnered a number of awards and nominations and the following year, after filming Steven Spielberg’s Munich, he was the sixth actor named to portray James Bond. In 2007 he became the first actor to be BAFTA nominated as James Bond for his role in Casino Royale. In the year ahead he will be starring in TinTin, Girl With A Dragon Tattoo and Cowboys & Aliens.
